We are

 

An independent property consultancy founded in 1986 with eight offices across London and the South-East of England. We provide surveying and valuation services to individuals and businesses when important property decisions need to be made. Our head office team based in Maidenhead is looking to recruit a Loan Security Valuation Surveyor.

 

You are

 

Either MRICS or FRICS qualified and are a RICS registered valuer. You are an enthusiastic, responsible person with proven experience of valuing residential and commercial property and development land. The successful candidate will also need to show good attention to detail, systematic approach and thoroughness in the way that they work. You will have a flexible and can-do working attitude, be pro-active, self-motivated, and able to multi-task extensively.

You will report to the Head of Loan Security Valuations, Simon Mills, and work alongside 7 other colleagues as part of an established team. You will be liaising with clients, occupiers and colleagues in a demanding role that requires excellent communication, time-management, and reporting skills.

 

Main duties of role

 

You will be working as part of our team alongside the head of our agency department, reporting to him but also to our valued clients and applicants.

Your role will include:

  • Valuing commercial property
  • Valuing residential property
  • Valuing development land
  • Updating clients regarding timescales required to complete the valuation
  • Meeting tight deadlines
  • Being able to work remotely
  • Booking appointments

 

Skills Criteria

 

Compulsory skill set:

  • Min 2 years’ post qualification experience as either MRICS or FRICS
  • Registered valuer
  • Willingness to roll sleeves up and carry out all tasks
  • Process orientated with high attention to detail
  • Able to build excellent working relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Full UK driving licence

 

Compulsory technical skill set:

  • Excellent working knowledge of Excel
  • Working knowledge of Word

 

Bonus skills:

  • Experience of Microsoft Dynamics CRM software
