A summary of 2018 at Kempton Carr Croft

As the end of the year draws closer, it’s natural to reflect on the highs and lows of the year gone by and to plan for the next one ahead. Lots has happened this year at Kempton Carr Croft and here is a snapshot of our highlights;

We’re proud to have welcomed plenty of new clients this year and completed over 2000 professional reports across our surveying, general practice, commercial agency and valuations teams. We’ve welcomed new staff including Nick Dixon, our Head of Building Surveying, Graham King for our IT management, several new surveyors and two new babies to the KCC fold this year. Our loan security valuations additions, Tom Shrives and Sian Pearce have been highly commended since they began, and with a change of leadership for KCC on top, there are exciting times to come.

We were lucky enough to be invited to a number of events over the year. Thank you to our professional colleagues across Maidenhead, High Wycombe, Henley, Marlow, Windsor, Reading and London for brilliant development, networking and charity events that saw us attend race nights, quiz nights, gin tasting, rugby matches and award ceremony’s such as the Thames Valley Property awards, Bridging and commercial awards and the Mortgage Introducer awards. In November, we were proud to help inspire the next generation of surveyors with a talk at Winsor Girl’s school for their Aspire High programme which aims to enable the school’s high aspiring students to build on their personal qualities and get insight into professional career choices from high achieving mentors that promote the success of women in business.

This year Malcolm Kempton organised two charity walks that took place in the Lake District & The Chilterns in memory of our friend and colleague Dave Jones who passed away last year. Nearly £10,000 was raised and funds were split between the British Heart Foundation and The Autism Group, (TAG). Malcolm also completed the South West Coastal Path this year. He has taken on three epic walks over the course of three summers to complete the challenge and finished it in West Harland Point at Poole this summer. Well done!

Kempton Carr Croft is proud to support both local and national charities, groups and events, through fundraising, sponsorship, volunteering and other means. Previous partnerships include; The Autism Group, Furze Platt School, Maidenhead Rowing Club, The Marlow Santa Run, Maidenhead Rugby Club, Maidenhead Hockey Club, Desborough School’s Rugby team, The British Heart Foundation, Bracknell Rugby Football Club Under 13s.  The importance and value of the work from all those we work with is inspiring and invaluable to those they help. Thank you to all of our staff, friends, professional partners and clients who have supported us in our fund raising efforts this year.
