2019 – A year in review at Kempton Carr Croft

The team here at Kempton Carr Croft have been hard at work over the last 12 months. As 2019 draws to a close, we’re reflecting on our achievements. It also provides us with the opportunity to look ahead to 2020 – we have many exciting plans in the pipeline.

Management Buy Out:

May 2019 saw a Management Buy Out of the company when the ownership of Kempton Carr Croft changed hands and the business entered a new era. The company is now owned by Rob Kerrigan and the previous owners, Malcolm Kempton and Michael Carr, have become consultants to the company. A win-win for all involved.

Business

It’s been a busy year and we’re delighted to have welcomed many new clients through our doors. We have been awarded the contract to value the property portfolio of Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead for the next three years.
In addition to this we’ve also been appointed to the Heathrow panel. During this five-year contract, we’ll be on hand to provide valuation services in connection with the third runway expansion.

Agency Deals

Our agency team has had a busy year! They’ve worked with Worldwise Foods to acquire them a new office building and are instructed to dispose of their existing freehold office building in the town centre of Bracknell.

The team has also been busy working with retained, long-standing national client Clean, undertaking a 100,000 – 150,000 sq.ft. industrial property search and has secured new client, Segro, for whom they will be disposing of multiple offices within the Slough Trading Estate.

Appointments

We’re thrilled to have welcomed several new members to our team. Most recently Maria Hoadley joined the ranks to head up our Industrial and Office department.

Clare Rasmussen also took the reins as our Management Account and James Reed came on board as our Graduate Building Surveyor. We are truly happy that all of them have joined, each of them proving to be excellent hires!

2020 plans

2019 was a fantastic year and we have even bigger plans in store for 2020 – watch this space!

Our offices will be closed from 24th December at 17:30 and will re-open at 09:00 on the 2nd January. We wish you a Merry Christmas and look forward to working with you all in 2020.
