Kempton Carr Croft joins ALEP
We delighted to be able to confirm our membership to ALEP – the Association of leasehold enfranchisement practitioners.
Our membership to the association cements our expertise in leasehold matters so our clients can be assured they are hiring professionals that have extensive experience in handling potentially complex transactions relating to leasehold premises.
Three of our Chartered Surveyors, Nathan Hall, Kayleigh Hillier and Michael Carr specialise in Collective Enfranchisement valuation and lease extension matters relating to flats and houses. They work with landlords and tenants to guide them through the maze of this heavily legislated field and regularly provide valuations for these requirements for solicitors acting for clients in Maidenhead, Windsor, Surrey, Staines, Gerrards Cross, Reading and the wider Thames Valley.
The team advises both leaseholders and freeholders on leasehold enfranchisement procedures and practice, undertake negotiations on behalf of our clients and represent them should the matter proceed to Residential Tribunal when matters cannot be agreed.
ALEP is a not-for-profit association that brings together barristers, project managers, managing agents, solicitors and surveyors working in the residential leasehold sector. ALEP promotes best practice by vetting members to ensure they have significant expertise in leasehold enfranchisement. Membership of ALEP acts as a badge of assurance so that leaseholders and freeholders can be confident that they are employing professionals with the right level of experience in handling potentially complex transactions.
Read our Leasehold enfranchisement or lease extension articles to find out more about each service including what it is, when to act and who should be aware of the legislation.
Our expert valueers and surveyors are always happy to offer advice on Leasehold enfranchisement, collective freehold transactions and have previously run seminars on the topic to local solicitors and estate agents.
If you represent a legal firm and are interested in learning more about this area and how Kempton Carr Croft’s Surveyors can assist your clients via a bespoke seminar for your requirements, please email Katie.firstname.lastname@example.org to express an interest.
