Multi-disciplined surveyors assist multi-phase relocation
Kempton Carr Croft’s multi-disciplined surveying team has been retained to assist Desborough bowls club in its planned relocation.
The club has resided in York Road Maidenhead for 108 years, but plans to move the club to a site at nearby Green Lane are underway as part of Maidenhead’s regeneration project.
David Jones, Chartered Building Surveyor for Kempton Carr Croft
“We are delighted to be able to assist Desborough bowls club in this project. As such a long standing fixture of Maidenhead’s town centre and a thriving local sports facility, it is important to us that the right plans are put in place for the clubs proposed relocation.”
Members of the team provided advice to the club during the negotiation of the transaction involving the provision of a new turn-key bowling club facility by the Shanly Group. We will continue to advise the club and will be monitoring the construction of the new facility through to completion of the project.
As a multi-disciplined firm, Kempton Carr Croft is well placed to work with commercial clients who require long term property advice and services. Our experienced surveyors and valuers offer a large range of specialisms between them which enables us to deliver excellent commercial partnerships when important property decisions need to be made.”
The regeneration of Maidenhead’s town centre is being brought to fruition by the Royal Borough. It will see a waterways system, housing, and cultural facilities put in place to transform the area, in which the club’s current site will be included.
Subject to planning permission, the clubs relocation will provide a purpose built, international standard bowling facility for its 500 members.
